The New Year!

One year ago, I vowed to post at least once a week as my New Year's Resolution.

I did it! 61 posts for 2013! Happy New Year!

I'm so exited that I actually did it, I'm going to try for a second year!

I'm also going to try experimenting with the blog format this year, adding pages and trying some of the other things that Blogger is capable of. For instance, I'm writing this at 11 AM, but I might want to add more to it later today, so I'm setting the automatic post feature for 11:59 PM tonight. I want to get a post up to celebrate both the New Year and that I accomplished my goal, but I have a busy day planned. I've never used the automatic post feature, so this seems like a good time to try it.

For those of you who stumble across this blog, thanks for reading. Since the most popular posts have been about my old Japanese electric guitar, I've got another old Japanese electric sitting in the garage that I'll try to put back together-maybe that'll be my New Year's Resolution!

Now, as I have for 29 of the last 30 years, it's off to the beach. No, I don't get in the water, though it's about 75 today and I probably could, but going to the beach seems like a good place to start the new year.
